Later, some friends told the police that Zhang and Abe had an illicit relationship. Abe often took advantage of her husband’s absence to hang out with Zhang. Zhang and the other men even fought over Abe. From the signs, police believe that Abe is related to Zhang’s disappearance.
The police and the village head went to Abo and Abe’s house to check, but called many times, no one opened the door. The truth was that the couple was still at home, but out of fear, they did not dare to open the door. Only then, knowing that they can’t escape the crime, do the two have to confess. Later, the police also dug up Zhang’s body in the couple’s garden.
During police interrogation, both Abo and Abe confessed to the offence. Abe said the day before the incident, he made an appointment with his girlfriend Zhang and went home together. Early the next morning, Abe got up to make breakfast for his employer. Around 9 am, both of them went to the room to have sex. Around 1 pm, Abo’s husband suddenly came home, so the tragedy happened.
In the end, both Abo and Abe were sentenced to 14 years in prison for their crimes.
