The People’s Committee of Ha Dong District (Hanoi) has just sent a document to the Vietnam International Urban Development Joint Stock Company, the District Police and the People’s Committee of La Khe Ward about strictly implementing measures to prevent and control the epidemic.

Accordingly, in the past few days, in the urban area in La Khe ward (Ha Dong district), many people have come to see flowers and take pictures. A part does not wear a mask, does not fully comply with the 5K principle. Ha Dong district assesses this as a risk of spreading the Covid-19 epidemic in the area in the context that the district still records more than 1,000 cases every day.

Facing this situation, the People’s Committee of Ha Dong district requested the Vietnam International Urban Development Joint Stock Company to strictly implement the regulations on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; There must be a plan to separate channels and welcome visitors to ensure strict implementation of the 5K principle, especially wearing masks and keeping a distance.

At the same time, the Director of the Company must be responsible before the law if the situation of gathering in large numbers causes the spread of disease, affecting the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in the area.

Talking to PV, a representative of the Urban Area, where there is a “golden road” of maple flowers, said that Phong Linh flower street has been closed due to complicated developments of the disease. In the past few days, due to the large number of people coming to visit and take photos, the investor decided to close the flower street from March 19.

“We did not think the flower garden would create a trend to attract such a large number of people. Currently, the road leading to the flower garden is still under construction and has not been officially put into operation. In addition, flowers are only blooms for a season, so we have not set a reopening time,” the representative said.

Leaders of the People’s Committee of La Khe ward, Ha Dong district, Hanoi also confirmed that this place has now stopped welcoming visitors to Phong Linh flower street.
