Hong Bang district police (Hai Phong) this afternoon said that they were investigating the case of a father who used a hammer to hit his son’s head, leaving him in critical condition.
This afternoon (March 19), Mr. Nguyen Duc Giang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thuong Ly ward, Hong Bang district said that a father used a hammer to hit his son’s head, causing serious injuries to the victim.
Specifically, at about 5am this morning, Mr. Vu Quoc Si (50 years old, residing in Thuong Ly ward) repeatedly hit his son VHP (22 years old) on the head while he was sleeping.
After severely beating his son, Mr. Si went to the police headquarters of Thuong Ly ward to surrender.
Receiving information, Thuong Ly ward police went to the scene, and the medical force took Mr. VHP to the hospital for emergency.
According to information from the locality, Mr. Si has a history of neurological disease.
The Hong Bang District Police said that the functional agency is coordinating with the Procuracy to examine the scene, extract the camera, and take witness statements.
At the police station, Mr. Sy confessed that he had a conflict before, so he planned to kill his son.
