Before that, on March 1, 2022, the People’s Committee of Hanoi City issued Decision No. 803/QD-UBND on the recognition of the High School of Educational Sciences, belonging to the University of Education, VNU-HN meeting national standards. family.

The High School of Educational Sciences is a model of a public high school, established in 2016.

High School of Educational Sciences was established under Decision No. 1036/QD-UBND dated 03/03/2016 of the People’s Committee of Hanoi City. The school is a public education and training institution under the University of Education – VNU, built according to the model of a high school that practices advanced and high-quality education of Vietnam.

Thus, VNU has 4 high schools, including 3 High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities, and High School for the Gifted of Foreign Languages.

In the school year 2021-2022, the school has 555 students, an increase of more than 4 times compared to the first year of establishment. From 2016 to now, the school has nearly 350 students who won prizes in cultural, scientific, technical, physical and sports competitions at city, national and international levels. In the last two years, 100% of the school’s students have graduated from high school and matriculated in domestic and international universities and colleges. In particular, in 2020, more than 40% of the school’s students are eligible for direct admission to universities. The High School of Educational Sciences was awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training.

Recognizing and praising the efforts and achievements of the High School of Educational Sciences, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong suggested that the school promote its achievements and build the school. achieve national standards at a higher level in the direction of “standardization, modernization and socialization”; continue to develop a plan to raise standards in the next cycle so that the school becomes a bright spot of the Capital Education sector, especially in the application of innovative teaching methods and improving the quality of comprehensive education.
