– Average number of new infections in the country recorded in the last 7 days: 168,014 cases/day.

– Patients declared cured in a day: 129,434 cases

– Number of recovered cases: 3,991,393 cases

2. The number of serious patients treated was 3,691 cases, including:

– Breathing oxygen through a mask: 2,982 cases

– HFNC high flow oxygen: 338 cases

– Non-invasive mechanical ventilation: 92 cases

– Invasive mechanical ventilation: 275 cases

– ECMO: 4 shifts

3. Number of patients who died:

– From 5:30pm on 18 March to 5:30pm on 19 March, 77 deaths were recorded in: Quang Nam (14 cases in 3 days), Binh Thuan (4), Cao Bang (4), Dak Lak (4), Bac Subs (3), Ha Giang (3), Khanh Hoa (3), Kien Giang (3), Ninh Binh (3), Quang Ninh (3), City. Ho Chi Minh City (3), Bac Giang (2), Bac Kan (2), Can Tho (2), Da Nang (2), Ha Nam (2), Lam Dong (2), Lang Son (2), South Dinh (2 shifts in 2 days), Phu Yen (2), Thanh Hoa (2), Vinh Long (2), An Giang (1), Binh Dinh (1), Binh Phuoc (1), Ca Mau (1 ), Dong Nai (1), Ha Tinh (1), Tay Ninh (1), Thai Binh (1).

– Average number of deaths recorded in the last 07 days: 75 cases.

– The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Vietnam so far is 41,817, accounting for 0.5% of the total number of infections.

– The total number of deaths ranked 24/225 regions, the number of deaths per 1 million people ranked 129/225 countries and regions in the world. Compared to Asia, the number of deaths is 6/49 (3 in ASEAN), deaths per 1 million people are 24/49 for Asian countries and regions (4th in ASEAN).
