On March 19, Mr. Bui Xuan Linh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vo Liet commune (Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province) said that the police agency is currently investigating to clarify the cause of the murder that occurred in the area, causing a person to die. The man was stabbed to death.
Before that, at about 2:30 p.m. on March 18, Mr. Hoang Van Binh (66 years old, residing in Hoa Son village, Vo Liet commune) went to Mr. Tran Van Ngu’s house (49 years old, residing in Chinh Thanh village, Vo Liet commune) to drink. alcohol.
During the process of drinking here, there was a conflict between the two people. After that, Mr. Ngu took a gourd knife and stabbed him many times, causing Mr. Binh to die.
Upon receiving the news, Thanh Chuong District Police in collaboration with professional units (Nghe An Provincial Police) were present at the scene to conduct examination, investigation and clarification. The suspect was arrested shortly thereafter.
According to the leader of the People’s Committee of Vo Liet commune, victim Binh and suspect Ngu are related to each other. Mr. Binh is the son-in-law of Mr. Ngu’s uncle.
Currently, the cause of the case is being investigated and clarified.
