Not living with mother-in-law but daughter-in-law is shocked by her actions when visiting
According to The Sun, recently, a woman accessed the AITA (Am I the A**hole) section on a crowded Reddit forum to share her bizarre story and seek advice from netizens because she was too confused and couldn’t find a solution to avoid losing her heart.
The anonymous writer, with the username u/Xoxo76757, explained that she and her husband have only been married for 9 months. After the wedding, the couple lived in another town for the convenience of work, meaning that she did not live with her husband’s parents.
One Friday, her mother-in-law suddenly appeared at her door without warning the husband and wife, son and daughter-in-law.
But this unexpected visit did not shock the woman as much as what followed.

When it was time for bed, her mother-in-law, who the moderator describes as someone who DOESN’T respect anyone’s privacy, asked to sleep with her son. Not only that, but also demanded that the door be locked “because she explained that she couldn’t feel comfortable sleeping if she didn’t lock the door”.
The woman wrote: “I found this very odd but I still tried to politely decline and suggest other options like living room, couch and air mattress but she disagreed and told me choose those places to lie down”.
While the husband appeared willing to satisfy his mother’s request, the woman was adamant and did not want her mother-in-law to lie in her bed.
She recounted the incident: “So she and I got into an argument. Meanwhile, I just said that I didn’t want to leave my room and also ‘get used to’ the furniture in that room, but my mother-in-law turned to yell at my husband. saying, ‘Don’t stand there! Say something!’ She blamed me on purposely kicking her out and started crying which upset my husband”.

By midnight, the woman told her mother-in-law had left – but the night of trouble wasn’t over when her husband got angry at her claiming she had disrespected his mother because she was a GUEST and that she treated him. too much for her.
He then asserts that it is not her own bedroom and runs off to find her mother. The mother-in-law booked a hotel room to stay and of course her son also went there to stay.
The next day, the woman returned to her mother’s home and told her family. Unexpectedly, she was scolded by her family that her behavior was “disgusting and hateful”.
