At that time, I also asked my father about my mother, but in his memory, he did not remember anything about my mother, and my father also searched and tried many times to get a birth certificate for me, but he was stuck,” Huyen said.

“In 2016 I did a blood DNA test with my father, Mr. Le Huy Son, and searched for information stored at the Hang Bun maternity home. However, after a long time, the maternity house no longer saves any information about my mother’s birth. The Ward People’s Committee asked to prove the mother’s origin, but I really don’t know who the mother is,” Huyen said.

“When my husband got seriously ill in the third child, the family took a DNA test for the father and son, so the government made a birth certificate for him with his father’s last name and my mother’s name on the birth certificate,” Huyen said.

Not long after completing the birth certificate for her youngest daughter, Huyen’s husband unfortunately passed away in a violent illness, leaving her with 3 children, an already difficult life now even more difficult.
