Through verification, the incident happened on Provincial Road 7, An Nhon Tay Commune, Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City at about 3 am on March 17.
Mr. T. (38 years old, living in Cu Chi district) said that at that time there was a group of people traveling in cars. When passing by his house, he discovered the family dog lying on the road.
At this time, a person in the back seat with a stun gun jumped out and shot at the dog. Then, a person sitting in the front opened the car door, picked up the dog, got into the car and left.
The group of people driving cars to steal dogs caused anger.
According to Mr. T., the stolen dog was raised by the family for more than a year, weighing nearly ten kilograms. Before that, Mr. T’s house was twice shot by a group of people riding a motorbike to steal a dog.
After the incident, Mr. T. did not go to the police headquarters to report, but only called and provided a video clip of the theft to a local authority to report that a theft had occurred in the area. The clip later appeared online to warn people.
Before that, at about 23:45 on January 1, at a house on Provincial Road 7 in Trung Lap Ha commune, Cu Chi district, there was also a group of people in 7-seat cars shooting people’s dogs, causing frustration.
