Immediately after the “fresco road” in the area was completed, many people shared pictures on social networks and expressed dissatisfaction because the “fresco road” was misplaced, infringing on the communal house. antiquity, seriously affecting the historical – cultural value.

Regarding the above incident, this morning (March 19), discussed with Dan TriMr. Dinh Van Tuyen – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Cam Thuong Ward said that the local government had to repaint to remove the above mural and return the house to its original state.

Previously, that wall was pasted by some people, painted with advertising and classified information, making the wall sloppy. Therefore, the youth union had the idea of ​​​​repainting the whole thing and painting beautiful murals.

However, when the painting was completed, it was opposed by the public, so we repainted it to erase the painting and return the house to its original state.“, said Mr. Tuyen.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong province, Tu Dong communal house was built in the post-Le period and is a national historical and cultural relic. The communal house has been repaired many times, the biggest one was in the second year of Tu Duc decade (1869).

But today, the relic still retains the basic architecture of the Le Dynasty (18th century). Tu Dong communal house is an architectural and artistic work that is quite synchronous in terms of landscape, ancestral worship, and harem.

This is a very rare communal house from the Le Dynasty in Hai Duong City. The above painting distorts and affects the value relics.

Upon receiving the above information, the Department asked Cam Thuong ward to direct the restoration of Tu Dong communal house to its original state.
