For the first time in the history of Miss Universe Vietnam, there are 3 winners of Vietnam’s Next Top Model participating.
Recently, the southern preliminary round of the competition Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 officially took place.
Like the previous 2 seasons, many famous contestants gathered in this season, most notably the appearance of 3 winners of Vietnam’s Next Top Model.
3 winners of Vietnam’s Next Top Model participated in a beauty season.
Mentioned as Nguyen Oanh – Champion of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2014, Huong Ly – Champion of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2015 and Ngoc Chau – Champion of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2016.
At the event, asked about having to fight with 2 champions who came out of a model training “furnace”, Ngoc Chau shared with 2Sao.vn:
“I think each person will have their own talents to shine in their own way. I believe Huong Ly, Nguyen Oanh and Ngoc Chau will all do well and shine at the Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 arena.”

With a similar question, Nguyen Oanh shared her perspective: “I think all contestants are strong opponents, not just the two of us. We all came here to be fair, we all fought equally.
Everyone has their own goals, their own ideals. I believe Chau, Ly, and me too, no matter what circumstances we have to fight each other again, again…, we are still friends, and come for one goal, an ideal of its own”.

“I’m not pressured, I’m happy. I came here with the attitude of giving my best to myself first, because honestly, this is also the last time I participate in a beauty arena because I have a certain age.
I think the more strong opponents I have, the more my abilities can be unleashed. In a more competitive environment, the more I will break through with what I used to think ‘I can’t’.
So, I feel that the stronger the opponent, the more likely I am to find something in myself that I have never thought of before.”
