At what age do you want to retire?
Several recent sociological surveys show that Vietnamese people have a desire to retire before the age specified in the Labor Code.
Over the years, thanks to the quick grasp of technological advances or the explosion of some new profession, some of Vietnam’s youth have achieved early success and built huge fortunes.
Along with that, the hustle and bustle of industrial life combined with the impact of the pandemic changed many people’s conceptions of life, work and family.
Whatever the reason, the goal of these people is to stop working, slow down to have more time to enjoy life and take better care of their family and loved ones.
However, many people still think “must work, life has meaning” and work not only for self-interest but also to contribute to society.
