In Germany, neighboring Belgium, an ISIS supporter rammed a truck into a Christmas market, killing 12 people in December 2016. A man in February 2020 also rammed his car into a crowd of festival-goers, injuring dozens of people, including children. Most of the perpetrators of car accidents in Germany have psychological problems.
