The study area is about 75,600 ha (756 km2). Satellite towns include: Soc Son, Son Tay, Xuan Mai, Phu Xuyen and Hoa Lac with boundaries defined according to the Hanoi Capital Construction General Planning approved by the Prime Minister, and the Construction General Planning. satellite towns approved by the City People’s Committee.
