Strategy to steal secret documents from investigator’s lover

Le Thi Phuong Hong (43 years old) and Nguyen Hoai Bac (38 years old, former officer of the Economic Security Division of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department) will be tried by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Court on felony charges. When the case was discovered, the authorities checked Bac’s phone but did not detect any spyware installed by Hong. Hong said, “I don’t know why this happened, but I am ready to re-manipulate the way information is collected and snooped” on her lover’s phone.

The defendant also said that he did not intentionally steal classified information and documents, but only intended to spy on Bac because he suspected that he was having an affair with the CFO of Saigon Co.op. The purpose of providing information to Pak Dung is to introduce a cheap and convenient source of purchasing for businesses, but has not yet said so. However, this woman said that Dung’s driver gave her 100 million VND and a piece of paper with the content she had to provide.

The prosecution determined that, in the information Hong provided to Mr. Duh, there’s a document Dear and very secret. “Hong used to work in the police department, well acquainted with the regulations on the preservation and use of regime documents, information. Dear… Hong was copied and recorded in a notebook to provide Diep Dung with information regarding the results of the investigation, which is state secret information,” the indictment reads.

As for Nguyen Hoai Bac, the prosecution determined that the defendant was well aware that Hong was a person who had no obligations, was not involved in the case verification process, was not allowed to provide this information to Hong, but is still at this time.
