On the evening of March 16, OPPO held a grand event to introduce the Reno7 Series mid-range smartphone duo to Vietnamese users. This year Reno7 is divided into 2 lines Reno7 5G and Reno7 Z 5Geach product has its own special design and features, which we will learn shortly.

There is a slight “swap” in the design between Reno6 series and Reno7 series, when this year Reno7 is a machine with a slightly curved back, thin beveled side. The version we have here is what the company calls Infinity Black, but it actually looks more like a deep blue with a purple tint. There are many small light dots on the back, which look quite like the night sky!

The common point of this year’s Reno7 5G and Reno7 Z 5G is that they both have very large camera clusters, even larger than those from Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series! With Reno7 5G we have a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro.

The power button located on the right side of the device still has a blue stripe typical of OPPO devices.

SIM slot, volume up and down buttons are located on the left edge.

The bottom edge is a USB Type-C charging port, a single speaker hole and a 3.5mm music port.

On the front, we have a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD resolution.

The 32MP high-resolution selfie camera is housed in a circular dot on the left edge.

Below this screen is an optical fingerprint sensor.

The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate, which should make things a little smoother than the standard 60Hz.

In terms of configuration, Reno7 5G is equipped with Dimensity 900 5G processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB memory, all powered by a 4500mAh battery.

Coming to Reno7 Z 5G, we also have the same accessories as clear rubber cases, SIM sticks, wires and chargers.

However, this charger only has a capacity of 33W, lower than the 65W SuperVOOC of Reno7 5G.

This year’s Reno7 Z 5G follows the square design of Reno6 last year, the flat sides create a strong and healthy feeling compared to the soft round design of Reno7 5G.

The Reno7 Z 5G’s Rainbow Silver is one of the most eye-catching smartphone colors I’ve seen. Looking at it from different angles, the machine turns out different colors, even indoors with light or out in the sun, it’s also very colorful!

The camera cluster of the Reno7 Z 5G is as big as the Reno7 5G, when placed on a light-colored back, it stands out even more clearly! This version has a 64MP main camera, 2 2MP cameras for depth and macro measurement, lacking the telephoto and close-up focal length cameras.

This camera cluster has a special feature: glow! I’m not talking about the flash, but the LED strip around the edges of the two large lenses, which will be activated to indicate charging and other notifications of the device.

The button layout of the Reno7 Z 5G is identical to that of the Reno7 5G, the difference is that we don’t see the blue streak on the power button anymore.

The bottom edge is no different, still has a Type-C charging port, a single speaker hole and a 3.5mm music port.

The front is a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with FullHD + resolution, also with a circular cutout to place the selfie camera resolution reduced from 32MP to 16MP.

Underneath this screen there is an optical fingerprint sensor, but the cut is that the Reno7 Z 5G did not have a high refresh rate screen, only at the standard 60Hz.

Overlooking the configuration issue, Reno7 Z 5G has Snapdragon 695 5G processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB memory and 4500mAh battery. With the same capacity but lower charging capacity, the device will definitely have a longer charging time than the Reno7 5G.

OPPO Reno7 Z 5G has a selling price in Vietnam of 10,490,000 VND, 4.5 million cheaper than Reno7 5G.
