Ukraine’s allies have transferred a lot of weapons to Kiev in the context of Russia’s military operation in the neighboring country since February 24.
Speaker of the Russian lower house of parliament Vyacheslav Volodin on March 19 emphasized that the US and other NATO members must stop supplying weapons and not send mercenaries to Ukraine.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also warned that any arms shipments into Ukraine would be a “legitimate” target of the Russian military.
“We have made it very clear that any goods entering Ukrainian territory that we consider to be armed will become a legitimate target,” Lavrov told RT.
