Vietnam national wrestling expert suddenly passed away on the eve of the 31st SEA Games
Shocking news to the Vietnamese wrestling team and the Vietnamese sports delegation preparing for the 31st SEA Games: Georgian veteran expert – Coach Phridon Chkhartishvili, unexpectedly passed away on March 19 at the National Sports Training Center Hanoi family.
It is known that on the morning of March 19, the Georgian expert still directed the morning training session of the same day but showed signs of pain after lunch, and despite being taken to the emergency room, Mr. Phridon Chkhartishvili did not survive. According to the Department of High Performance Sports I, this is the loss of the Vietnamese wrestling team and Vietnamese sports in general, because expert Phridon is a valuable friend and teacher to Vietnamese wrestling.
Expert Phridon Chkhartishvili was invited by the late Vice President of the Vietnam Olympic Committee Hoang Vinh Giang to work since 1999. After more than 20 years of working, Mr. Phridon left his mark when helping Vietnamese wrestling dominate the regional arena, at the same time leaving many impressions to the continental arena. Mr. Phridon can speak Vietnamese well and loves the food here. Understanding the culture is also the secret that helps him in training.
The General Department of Physical Education and Sports has informed the family of expert Phridon, and is completing legal procedures and working with the Georgia embassy in Vietnam to resolve the remaining issues. After his wife Phridon died, the daughter was the closest relative of this expert.
