Typically, benchmark scores for candidates with permanent residency in the South are lower than those for the North. However, to be counted by this region, candidates must have a permanent residence from Quang Tri province or more for three consecutive years (starting September this year) and have at least a 12 year class of study and take the exam. in the southern provinces.
In addition to the general rules, some schools have their own rules. The Air Force Officers School takes a common benchmark in training military pilots for candidates across the country. The Military Medical Academy takes common benchmarks for both combinations of A00 (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) and B00 (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology). The Academy of Military Sciences does not distinguish between male and female subjects in foreign languages and international relations.
