The website also provides a “Documents” feature to share media publications to raise awareness, skills and experience to protect children on the internet.

Besides, the website also includes other features such as: “Q&A” so that users can ask questions to get answers about issues to protect children on the internet; “Expressing wishes” so that children and people through the website can express their opinions and aspirations. Especially with the “Report Intrusion” feature.

“This will be a consultation channel for state agencies in advising on policies in accordance with the legitimate aspirations of the people, especially for children,” the representative of the Information Security Department emphasized.

Finally, the website also provides useful tools and software to help children participate in healthy interactions in the online environment as well as “report abuse”, receive reports of child abuse. in the network environment.

In order to protect children in cyberspace, in early June 2021, the Prime Minister approved the program “Protecting and supporting children to interact healthy and creatively in the cyber environment in the period of 2021 – 2025”. . This is the first time that Vietnam has issued a separate national program on child protection in the online environment.

The program has the goal of protecting children’s confidential information, privacy, and personal secrets when children access information, participate in activities on the network environment, and prevent and handle harmful acts. Using the network environment to perform prohibited acts against children in any form as prescribed by law.

In addition, the Ministry of Information and Communications has also established a network to rescue and protect children in the online environment with the participation of functional units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Ministry of Labor. – Invalids and Social Affairs and many related organizations. The network is an interdisciplinary coordination organization aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and the performance of child abuse prevention and control tasks in the online environment, contributing to raising social awareness and creating social awareness. Establish a safe and healthy online environment for children.

The construction of the website vn-cop.vn is one of the tasks to implement Decision No. 830/QD-TTg dated June 1, 2021 on protecting and supporting children to interact healthy and creatively on the environment.
