Close-up of the unique gold-plated Maserati MC20 in Vietnam

After being brought to Vietnam by a private unit in November 2021, the Maserati MC20 first appeared in public. This is the first Maserati MC20 model imported to Vietnam, also the first in the world to be plated with gold.

This model is considered one of the rare supercars in Southeast Asia, in Vietnam, the MC20’s private selling price is about over 20 billion VND. Immediately after being brought back to Vietnam, this supercar was handed over to EAC Vietnam manufacturing unit for gold plating.

To perfect the unique MC20 model, EAC Vietnam worked for 5 weeks with many methods of testing, measuring, calculating, and modifying to be compatible with the approved design.

The project implementation time is about 1,000 working hours. Estimated total cost for this entire project is also around 100,000 USD.

The production team used 18K and 24K gold materials to coat the car’s details. The original wheels are painted, background treated, polished and finished in 18K gold. These 4 sets of wheels alone took 320 hours to complete.

Maserati’s signature trident logo is installed on the front bumper, on both sides of the C-pillar and on the bonnet, which is also gold-plated. The code of the car series “MC20” is placed along the door panels, the door panels on both sides have a sharp Italian flag color.

The series of letters “CASIKEN” and “Exclusive Edition” are gilded to highlight the rear of the car. The Maserati logo is installed on the rear trunk lid. Custom designed Maserati MC20 license plate frame.

The entire exterior paint of the supercar is also protected by a durable PPF film.

The interior of the MC20 is also customized with the Casiken logo inserted in the middle of the steering wheel, this logo has a Phi Diep orchid pattern with the number 70 in the middle because the owner is an orchid trader in Tay Ninh. The badge “Maserati MC20 – Exclusive Edition 01/01” is pasted on the carbon panel.

Maserati MC20 was first launched in September 2020. Powering the Maserati MC20 is a V6 engine block, 3.0L capacity, twin turbochargers, producing up to 620 horsepower and maximum torque of 730 Nm. In particular, this engine was developed by Maserati itself, different from the current Maserati models that use engines from Ferrari.

As a result, MC20 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in under 2.9 seconds and has a maximum speed of 325 km / h. The car has 5 driving modes including GT, Wet, Sport, Corsa and ESC Off.
