Enjoy dinner with this easy-to-make dumpling soup

12 dumplings (frozen)
20g ginger
3 cloves of garlic
A carrot
Scallion
One liter of water
Shiitake
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1.5 tbsp white miso paste

Making
Step 1:
Peel the ginger, then thinly slice it.
Peel the garlic and crush it with the flat side of a knife.
Peel and slice the carrots.
Cut the scallions into thin slices, keeping the green part separate.
Step 2:
Put the toasted sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add garlic, scallions, and ginger to the pan and stir-fry continuously (about 3 minutes) until fragrant and soft.
Add carrots to the pot and saute until cooked.
Add water and bring to a boil. Once boiled, add the shiitake mushrooms and reduce the heat to medium. Leave on low heat for about 5 minutes.
Step 3:
Add soy sauce, a little salt and sugar to the pot.
Add the dumplings and continue to simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
Dissolve the miso with a little broth, then add to the pot and stir well.
Garnish with green onions and add sesame oil if desired.
Ladle into bowls and enjoy while still hot.
