Candidates applying for admission to military colleges and universities must go through a pre-qualification and meet the criteria prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense (young adults outside the Army are pre-qualified at the Military Admissions Committee at district level, towns and cities directly under the province, military personnel in the pre-qualification ranks at the Military Admissions Committee at the regiment level and the equivalent).

Candidates are only allowed to register for one wish 1 (the highest aspiration) to a military school right from the time of making the application (if the school has many training majors, candidates can only apply for one major). ); the remaining aspirations, candidates register to schools outside the Army, the registration shall comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (Education-Training).

Academies and schools in the Army only consider admission to military colleges and universities for candidates who: have passed the pre-qualification and meet the criteria prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense; attend the High School Graduation Exam in 2022 to get university and college admission results; exams and test subjects suitable for the combination of exam subjects for admission to military schools that candidates register. About the admission criteria of military schools in 2022

Carry out a common benchmark with candidates who are soldiers and young people outside the Army; determine separate benchmarks for male – female subjects (if the school recruits female candidates); according to candidates with permanent residence in the Northern region (from Quang Binh onwards) and candidates with permanent residence in the Southern region (from Quang Tri onwards) or by each Military Zone; Candidates who are active-duty military personnel shall have their recruitment points determined according to their permanent residence.

For academies and schools that simultaneously examine the admissions combination: Math, Physics, Chemistry (A00 combination) and Admission test: Math, Physics, English (A01 combination): Make one standard score. common to combination A00 and combination A01.
