Where the behavior falls under circumstances such as causing the marriage relationship of one or both parties to lead to divorce; has been administratively sanctioned for this act but still commits it; causing the wife, husband or child of either party to commit suicide, or there has been a court decision to annul the marriage or force the termination of the cohabitation as husband and wife contrary to the monogamy, but still If the violator maintains a relationship, the violator will be criminally handled for the crime of violating the monogamous regime under Article 182 of the Penal Code 2015.

Depending on the framing circumstances, the convicted person will receive a minimum sentence of up to one year of non-custodial reform and a prison term of up to three years at the most.

If this act is proven to gain illicit profits of 50 million VND or more, cause bad publicity or cause damage of 100 million VND or more, the violator may be criminally prosecuted for the crime of giving or using illegally providing information on computer networks and telecommunications networks under Article 288 of the Penal Code 2015.
