It is known that this is a great pho restaurant which has just been open for over a week, located on Nguyen Van Thoai Street (Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District), near the tourist beach area of My Khe (Da Nang).
In the shop there are many kinds of pho including mixed pho, noodle soup, chicken noodle soup, besides, the shop also has chicken rice and sticky rice, each dish has a different listed price. Prices for all types of pho in the shop are clearly listed on the menu and on the electronic board at the checkout counter.
In particular, Trang An’s first chicken pho is the most expensive dish in the restaurant, priced at 295,000 VND/bowl. Other types of pho are priced at 45,000, 65,000, 85,000, 95,000 and 155,000 VND/bowl depending on the ingredients.
Speaking of the opinion that pho shops are “hacked and cut”, Mr. Phan Tuan Vu – the store representative – said it was the first time his restaurant was criticized for being expensive. Mr Vu said that all diners when it comes to restaurants carefully consider each dish as well as the price before ordering. He emphasized that the pho store brand currently has 15 branches in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, and this pho shop is one of the first two new branches to open in Da Nang City.
According to Mr Vu, in 15 brand chain stores, all types of pho are listed with clear prices and have the same price, there is no such thing as “cutting” or arbitrarily charging nearly 300,000 VND for each person. . Apart from the most expensive dish, Trang An’s first chicken noodle soup, costs VND295,000/bowl, other types of pho have lower prices and each ingredient is clearly listed on the menu for customers to choose from.
Speaking of a bowl of pho which costs almost 300,000 VND, Mr. Vu explained: “This bowl of pho is made of many special ingredients such as boneless Dong Tao chicken feet, chicken thighs, chicken wings, pearl millet and young eggs, liver. liver and bone broth, so the price is higher than regular pho.”
