Russia seizes many Ukrainian tanks and ammunition in the suburbs of Kiev

“Russian paratroopers have forced Ukrainian nationalist divisions to withdraw from the outskirts of Kiev, leaving behind many tanks, armored multi-purpose combat vehicles, personal weapons, weapons. anti-tank and ammunition”, a statement released by the Russian Defense Ministry today (March 21) said.

“In the list of seized weapons, there are T-64 and T-72 tanks, Panzerfaust 3 anti-tank weapons of German origin, and 9K38 Igla man-portable air defense missiles. The above weapons will be transferred by us to the armed forces of the two self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk (DPR) and Lugansk (LPR),” the statement added.
This is not the first time the Russian military has seized a lot of equipment from the Ukrainian armed forces.
Earlier on March 16, a series of anti-tank missiles such as Javelin from the US, British N-LAW, RPG-26 single-shot anti-tank jet gun, tank and multiple rocket launcher BM-27 Uragan of the Ukrainian army was also captured by Russian soldiers confiscate and give to separatist forces.
