The new “monster king” of the universe scans radio signals through the Earth-Information Technology
A repeating radio signal coming from within the Earth-containing galaxy may be coming from a terrifying “pulsating white dwarf”, first detected.
GLEAM-X J162759.5−523504.3, an alien emitting radio signals with low frequency pulses (72-215 MHz), exhibits all the characteristics of a pulsar, but has a long period hundreds of times more than any known pulsar.

The team led by astrophysicist Jonathan Katz from Washington University in St. Louis (USA) used data collected from the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) observation system located in the Australian desert and recorded a bright pulse from the mysterious object for about 30-60 seconds and every 18, 18 minutes, they became one of the most powerful emitters of low-frequency radio signals.
Science Alert reports that this could be the first pulsating white dwarf ever recorded.
In the past, pulsars were commonly known as a “monster of monsters” – extremely fast-rotating neutron stars that are much more powerful than other already powerful neutron stars. Like the neutron star, it is thought to have formed from the death of a star 8-30 times the mass of the Sun.
There is also the theory that neutron stars form after the death of a white dwarf, which was a stellar corpse before, collapsing a second time and continuing to cluster into something denser, more powerful.
White dwarfs are usually the result of the “death” of stars less than eight times the mass of the Sun. But a white dwarf spinning as fast as a pulsar is a strange thing, although previously suspected.
This singular star, 4,000 light-years away, is able to convert magnetic field energy into radio waves more efficiently than any known astronomical object.
The study has just been published online on arXiv. Scientists haven’t stopped yet, as they hope to find a few more pulsating white dwarfs to understand more about how it formed and was elevated to the status of “monster” by its rapidly spinning behavior, effectively increasing its power.
