At noon on March 21, functional forces were still trying to find the whereabouts of a young man who committed suicide by jumping from Tam Ky bridge (Quang Nam).
At about 4 am this morning, people on the street discovered Mr. Nguyen Phuc V. (27 years old, residing in Tam Ngoc commune, Tam Ky city) stopped his motorbike on Tam Ky (old) bridge, the border between Hoa Huong and Hoa Huong wards. Tam Xuan Xuan 1 commune (Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province), then suddenly climbed over the bridge railing and jumped into the Tam Ky river, missing.
The Police Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue and Rescue Quang Nam Provincial Police has mobilized dozens of officers, soldiers and 1 fire truck to urgently present at the scene to organize the search for victims.
At 11:30 a.m. on the same day, the search for victims was still ongoing.
According to Workers said, Mr. V. left a note stating that he owed an amount of VND 150 million and an identity card and other vehicle documents in the trunk of a motorbike on Tam Ky bridge.
The police force then called to notify relatives and family members to coordinate with the force in efforts to find the victim.
The cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified.
