At the age of 31, Cuc Long (currently living in Atlanta, Georgia, USA) has had admirable achievements, creating a lot of income for himself. Cuc is currently working for the State Court of Georgia, and has a Youtube channel with more than 210,000 followers, bought a 260m2 large garden villa worth about 600,000 USD (nearly 14 billion VND) and including rental properties. To get those results, Cuc herself had to try and make a lot of effort.
Cuc grew up in a family with a good economy, since childhood she was spoiled by her parents, rarely had to do housework. On a trip to Malaysia nearly 8 years ago, Cuc had the opportunity to meet Mr. Chris Long (American) who also went to the country of tourist palm oil. Because they both work in the field of telecommunications, Cuc and Chris easily talk to each other.

At the end of the trip, both Cuc and Chris returned to their respective countries. But for a year, they talked to each other every day via email. That much time was enough for Chris to determine a serious relationship with Cuc. Therefore, he decided to work in Vietnam for 1 year to learn more about Cuc as well as her family.
Not wanting their daughter to get married far away, alone in a foreign land, the Cuc family initially protested. But after 1.5 years, Chris with sincerity conquered his girlfriend’s family. He returned to the US to arrange and bring his parents to Vietnam to hold the wedding. After getting married, Cuc followed her husband to the US to settle down. Before Cuc’s departure, her father still had not stopped worrying about his daughter. He had a conversation with his daughter about wine, instructing her to practice cooking and nurturing the family.

Cuc’s life in the early days of coming to the US was not easy, although while in the country, she had the opportunity to interact a lot with the foreign environment.
“When I first arrived, I had to wait 6 months to do the paperwork. At that time, I had to stay at home, it was cold, it was snowing up to my knees, so I couldn’t go to the bride. My husband has to work 10-11 hours/day. The newlyweds feel that there is a separation and there are many conflicting issues. There was a time when I thought negatively, packed my things and left for Vietnam.
I feel useless, bored, my husband goes all the time, always only knowing about work. I feel there is no balance with my husband, no one to share. Knowing the story, her mother-in-law flew from Florida to resolve the conflict for the two. Fortunately, I have a very psychological mother-in-law. She understood the difficulties she had to go through, so she often encouraged her, or booked tickets for her to go out for fun“, Cuc confided about his first days in the US.
Life in the early days of coming to the country of Cuc was very difficult.
Until now, Cuc has a stable income and a happy married life.
After half a year, Cuc started working. Her first job was in a furniture company. Here, Cuc works as a cashier cum warehouse checker, price checker and even a porter. This job ends at around 4 pm, Cuc goes home and continues to do another job that is walking the rented dog.
Cuc said, her neighbors are very busy, they don’t have time to walk the dog, so they hired Cuc to do this. Each time you take your pet out for about 30 minutes, Cuc will be paid 20 USD (more than 450 thousand VND), not including tips. At one point, Cuc earned 1000 USD (nearly 23 million VND) in 2 weeks just from walking.
Cuc’s journey to success makes many people admire.
Cuc’s husband saw his wife doing many things at once quite hard, she was quite small, so Chris worried and told her to rest. However, the Vietnamese girl thinks that if she works hard and saves, the future will have everything.
Cuc’s journey went from staying at home to play, to receiving a salary equal to only a tiny bit of her husband’s, and now she has twice as much income as her husband’s. During that journey, Cuc and Chris always respect each other. Up to now, Cuc and Chris are living a very happy and joyful life.
Missing home, missing hometown, miss Vietnamese food so much, but she has been to the US for 5 years but Cuc has never visited home once. Two years ago, they planned to give birth to a baby, waiting for the baby to return to Vietnam to visit his grandparents. However, the Covid-19 epidemic came suddenly, causing all plans to fall apart. Currently, Cuc’s family is doing paperwork and she hopes that this year the whole family can return home.
