The coastal hotels in Da Nang have lighted up, bustling again, tourists are busy swimming, checking in to famous places in this city after 2 gloomy years because of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic, Da Nang tourism has almost hibernated for the past 2 years with a series of restaurants and hotels closing and temporarily suspending operations.

However, after March 15, most hotels in Da Nang have reopened. Hotels on the coastal road of Da Nang such as Vo Nguyen Giap, Vo Van Kiet, Truong Sa … have lit up to welcome guests. Many hotels said that on weekends, room occupancy reached more than 80%. Da Nang has begun to be crowded and bustling again.

Thuy Trinh (a tourist from Hanoi) shared, this is her family’s first trip after 2 years of being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.

“We are expected to stay in Da Nang for 4 days to visit Dragon Bridge, Than Tai mountain hot spring, Con market, Hoi An ancient town …”, Trinh shared.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, more than 70% of accommodation establishments, resorts, tourist attractions, transport houses, have resumed operations. The city has prepared new service facilities, people and tourism products, ready to welcome tourists to visit.

On March 27, the first two flights from Singapore and Thailand will resume international routes with Da Nang after 2 years of Covid-19.

From March 27 to October 29, it is expected that 7 airlines will operate international flights connecting Da Nang with Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and India with a frequency of 41 flights/week.

From April 1 to October 29, it is expected that 6 airlines will operate flights from Da Nang to South Korea with a frequency of 49 flights/week.
