At least 25 people were killed in the attack in Northwest Nigeria

This incident sparked violent protests across Nigeria on March 21. Some protesters blocked roads and carried out radical acts, forcing the Kaduna state government to impose a 24-hour curfew in the Kaura and Jema’a areas.

Nigerian officials said imposing a curfew would allow security services to protect people’s lives and property and restore order in these areas. The Kaduna state government called on people in the Kaura and Jema’a areas to coordinate with security agencies in carrying out emergency missions to restore order.
