According to the Ministry of Health of this country, the vaccines that Cambodia has received include 29,424,800 doses of vaccine company Sinovac, 7,800,000 doses of Sinopharm, 3,784,500 doses of AstraZeneca, 2,350,530 doses from Pfizer, 1,064,600 doses from Johnson & Johnson and 188,160 doses from Moderna. Meanwhile, Cambodia has donated COVID-19 vaccines and medical equipment to prevent this disease to a number of countries in the region, including Laos and Vietnam.

Regarding the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country, the Cambodian Ministry of Health on the same day announced that the number of new cases per day in the country had decreased and now there are only 73 cases (according to PCR results), of which 65 are infected. community infection. All were infected with the Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. However, according to ministry spokesman Hok Kim Cheng, the decrease in the number of cases does not mean that the COVID-19 epidemic in Cambodia has passed its peak because most of the cases have not been reported to the agency.

Meanwhile in Indonesia, according to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Jakarta, the Government of Indonesia has extended the visa on arrival (VoA) program for foreign visitors from 42 countries to I Gusti Rai international airport in Bali province.

Specifically, on March 22, Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said the VoA program and no need for COVID-19 testing for foreign tourists had been expanded from 23 countries previously. to 42 countries at the request of President Joko Widodo. Previously, Indonesia has granted VoA to 23 countries including Australia, USA, Netherlands, Brunei, Philippines, UK, Italy, Japan, Germany, Cambodia, Canada, China, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, France, Qatar, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Vietnam.

According to the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the country has set a target of reaching between 1.8 million and 3.6 million international tourist arrivals in 2022.
