Hanoi added 16,014 new Covid-19 cases; more than 99% F0 home treatment

New Covid-19 patients in Hanoi are distributed in 487 communes, wards and towns in 30/30 districts, towns.

Some districts and districts recorded many patients during the day such as: Ha Dong (1,436), Soc Son (1,360), Hai Ba Trung (1,214), Hoai Duc (1,081), Dong Da (1,063).

This is the 11th day in a row that the number of daily cases in Hanoi has decreased. Compared with 32,650 cases set on March 8, the number of cases in the capital has decreased by more than 16,500 cases.

Thus, the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Hanoi, from April 29, 2021 until now, is 1,205,274 cases.

Also according to a report by the Hanoi Department of Health, by the end of March 21, Hanoi had 318,843 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2 being treated and monitored, a decrease of more than 28,000 cases compared to March 20.

In which, 284 cases are treated in isolation areas; more than 3,000 patients are being treated at the hospital (accounting for more than 0.94% of the total number of patients being treated and monitored); the remaining 315,833 people are being treated and monitored at home (accounting for more than 99%).

According to statistics of the Ministry of Health, out of more than 3,300 cases being treated at hospitals, there are 1,891 cases of moderate level, down nearly 16% compared to the average 7 days ago; 481 severe/critical cases (a decrease of more than 100 cases compared to the previous day), a decrease of nearly 23% compared to the average of 7 days ago; The number of non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation cases decreased to 46 cases.

Yesterday (March 21), Hanoi recorded 5 deaths. Thus, the total number of deaths from Covid-19 (from April 27, 2021 to present) is 1,305.

Regarding vaccination, by the end of March 19, Hanoi had 82% of people aged 18 and over who had received a booster shot of the Covid-19 vaccine. In addition, nearly 100% of people who needed additional shots were vaccinated.
