Honda Marathon Adventure Tour
The Multi-Terrain Challenge organized by Honda Vietnam gave participants the opportunity to explore models, from road to offroad.
Marathon Adventure Tour event – Multi-terrain challenge organized by Honda Vietnam on March 18th. At a distance of more than 600 km departing from Ho Chi Minh City, 50 customers have experience with the company’s Adventure cars such as the CB500 X and Africa Twin.

Departs at 6 am to the city of Bao Loc (Lam Dong). Most groups, each car has one person sitting, equipped with adventure protective gear. Moving in the morning rush hour, the high handlebar design of the CB500X or Africa Twin can help the driver easily handle in tight spaces, with a more comfortable sitting position.
During the trip, the team leader is responsible for observing and making decisions about how the group will move, to ensure the safety of members and road users around. Bao Loc Pass is the first challenge before the group arrives at Bao Loc city. With a length of about 10 km, almost 110 bends, this is a pass that is famous in the south for its beauty and danger. To ensure safety, the dispatch team leader moves in a vertical line.

From accommodation to off-road locations around 30 km, this road helps “warm up” the body before entering Dam B’ri lake. The rain made the walk quite difficult. The slippery road surface makes bikers have to use the skills and help of teammates to overcome the incline. There is a section, 4-5 people pushing together, tying the zipper to carry the car uphill.
The group returned after more than 4 hours conquering Dam B’ri Lake. Participating in this trip, Mr Tri Ho, representative of Off-road School said: “Vietnam is an ideal country for Adventure because of its mountainous terrain and sea”.

The following day, the group moved more than 120 km to Lac Duong, a small town in Lam Dong province. The leader of the delegation chose the DT725 path to conquer Con O and Ta Nung through. At Lac Duong, the group stopped at a small valley and looked back on their previous journey.
A representative from Honda Vietnam said that this program helps Adventure car enthusiasts have the opportunity to conquer diverse terrain and connect with each other, helping to create a strong car community.
