Sweden signs contract to buy weapons from Israel

The above contract was signed between Elbit Systems and the Swedish Defense Supplies Administration and was deployed within 10 months. The agreement includes the supply of 120mm M339 ammunition to improve firepower and data sets for the Swedish army’s main battle tank Leopard.

According to Elbit Systems, the 27 kg M339 ammunition produced by this company has high accuracy for battlefield and urban operations. This ammunition can destroy fortifications, urban structures, light armored vehicles and armored personnel carriers, and has a high lethality. The M339 bullet can also penetrate 200 mm thick concrete walls and adjust the detonation delay.
