The name Genshin Impact was no longer strange to the gaming community last year. Some players who like to play around have discovered that they can use third-party software to change the number of boxes they want to open. From there, players can open thousands of such gift boxes and the game doesn’t even report an error.
Accounts with such a huge amount of valuable items were widely sold. At that time, the new publisher discovered this bug and issued a notice to “fail” the offending accounts. However, the player discovered that the IDs that were stolen by you were low-level accounts created by game staff to “kill chickens to scare monkeys”, and illegal accounts were still being sold normally.
3. “Borrowed” Genshin Impact’s review
Due to the overwhelming number of bugs that the publisher still ignored, the game began to receive bad reviews from players. There were times when the game rating dropped extremely low, but a short time later, the ToF rating suddenly increased strangely.
These reviews end with commas then periods at regular intervals, indicating that they were generated by bots.
Chinese players and Reddit discovered it was because ToF stole other game’s 5-star reviews and used bots to spam these comments. Specifically, these “stolen” reviews are all taken from Genshin Impact. One review even mentioned Yoimiya, a character definitely not in Tower of Fantasy.
