Having just gone through the 4th round of chemotherapy, babysitting Nguyen Ngan Ha (3 years old, residing in Binh Luat village, Cam Binh commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province) is very tired. Nguyen Thi Hien (23 years old, Ha’s mother) said that after giving birth to Ha, she was 1 year old, and Hien and her husband sent the child to be cared for by both sides of the family to work in Dong Nai to earn a living.
Baby Ha was diagnosed with a malignant “soft tissue tumor of the shoulder”.
“Just been away from my son for a month, when at home, he called at home to report that his shoulder blade appeared a small tumor like a marble, swelling, pain, low fever for many days. I quit my job to take my son to the hospital. Lightning struck in the ear when the doctor concluded that the child had a “soft muscle tumor of the shoulder”.
Just two days later, she had to undergo painful surgery to remove the tumor. Since then, I have hugged my son to the hospital to fight for his life. My small body is getting worse and worse, in pain because every day I take drugs, injections, and infusions of chemicals. Almost 2 years ago, my mother and I only came home once. Now I just pray that the baby is healthy and peaceful, but it’s so difficult”, Hien shared sadly.
Only 3 years old but nearly 2 years, baby Ha has to fight for life in the hospital.
Up to now, in addition to surgery, baby Ha has undergone 4 times on chemotherapy. Living with a terrible disease makes Ha’s health increasingly weak, nearly 3 years old, but only 11kg, eat less, sleep less, her face is always frowning, soaked in tears because of the constant pain of torture.

Since the day her child got a serious illness, Hien and her husband stopped working, hugged their children around the hospital, begging for life. The money accumulated, borrowed from relatives, friends, and banks also broke out in turn, the young family gradually fell into difficulties.

In order to have money to continue to treat his children, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang (25 years old, father of baby Ha) decided to go back to Dong Nai to work as a hired worker. With a salary of more than 7 million VND/month, Mr. Hoang only dares to spend frugally to save money to send medicine for his children.
Ha’s life is too fragile.
The time to treat baby Ha is still very long while the debt of more than 100 million VND cannot be paid, making the young couple helpless. They fear that the child will have to be discharged midway because there is nowhere to look to borrow more.
Hien begged everyone to save her unfortunate child.
“During the past time, I don’t remember how many times I collapsed when I saw the unicorn in danger. I don’t remember how many nights I didn’t dare to sleep because I was afraid that when I woke up I could no longer see the baby. How many times strength when I look at her pleading eyes… But she’s already bravely halfway into the chemical, I can’t let go of her hand so easily.
If I give up now, my son’s life will be threatened, I beg everyone to have mercy on the situation, take his little hand and give him a chance to live,” Hien pleaded with tears in her eyes.
