The female captain who used to be “annoyed” at the airport was prosecuted for robbery

The People’s Procuracy of Dong Da district, Hanoi, has just completed the indictment against Le Thi Hien (SN 1983, former police captain, residing in Cau Giay district) and 17 other defendants for the crime of “robbing property”.

According to the indictment, in 2019, Hien and Vu Anh Hoang (born in 1991, hometown of Quang Ninh) and Nguyen Duc Thang (born in 1992, from Hanoi) contributed more than 2 billion VND to open a Magic Lounge on Ton Duc Thang Street, Dong Da.

This shop specializes in the business of drinks, laughing balls, the profit of the shop will be divided equally according to the percentage of capital contribution. Particularly Hien was assigned the task of managing the revenue and expenditure logistics, monitoring activities and taking care of “foreign relations”.

By March 2020, Hien’s group signed a contract to hire Nguyen Thi Minh Trang (SN 1993, in Ha Dong district) to plan activities for the restaurant with 3 goals: “The first month is to build, select and train. 50 staff to book tables, 6 staff to serve tables, 1 security guard, with the condition that monthly sales must reach 1.6 billion VND; In the second month, 50 more staff must be recruited to book tables, the turnover reached 1.7 billion dong; In the third month, we recruited 50 more staff to book tables, the revenue reached 2 billion VND”.

If sales are achieved, Trang is paid 60-90 million VND/month. If not, Trang has to continue until she achieves it.

Allegedly, after signing the contract, Trang recruited staff and submitted content on how to find customers through the social network Tinder to bring to the shop. If they see that guests have money, they will try to push more food (fruits), drinks (wine, beer), smiley balls so that guests have to pay or have to leave valuable property.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Magic Shop had no customers, so Trang directed the female staff to go to Tinder and Badoo social networks to date, get acquainted, and entice customers to use the service. After the guests arrived at the restaurant, the female staff fled, leaving the guests to pay.

In case of refusal to pay, the restaurant’s “security team” consisting of male employees will beat and force customers, this practice in the shop is called “dí bill”.

Thanks to this mode of operation, in March 2021, Trang completed all of her goals and was recommended by Hien’s group to sign a new contract.

Although being exchanged by Trang, if you want to achieve high sales, you must promote the application of the “di bill” form, but this is easily related to the law. However, Hoang and Thang continued to ask Trang to step up, “regarding the law, there has been a board of shareholders to stand out”.

A while later, the “bill” method at the Magic Lounge was “disguised” on social media because the staff beat customers when they refused to pay.

The procedural authorities determined that, from March 31 to April 14, 2021, Hien’s group carried out 4 robberies, appropriating more than 84 million VND.

Among the customers whose bill was “dirty” was Mr. Le Anh Duc (32 years old, in Ha Dong district), on the night of March 31, 2021, Nguyen Phuong Trang (Magic Lounge staff) called him to come pick him up because he was drunk. alcohol. After entering the shop, Trang disappeared, and Mr. Duc was held by the “security team”, beaten and beaten, forcing Mr. Duc to transfer the payment of more than 35 million.

After paying, the “security team” took the victim’s phone and deleted all data related to Nguyen Phuong Trang.

In addition to the above case, the staff of the Magic Lounge also beat and forced Mr. Truong Phat Tai (19 years old in Thanh Hoa), Mr. Pham Hong Duyen (25 years old, in Huong Yen) and Mr. Le Xuan Bach (from Thai Binh province). forced to write loan documents or pay tens of millions of dong.

Defendant Hien was the one who went down to the shop to deal with it and told the staff to avoid it next time if they met a customer with a relationship.

In August 2019, defendant Le Thi Hien (then a captain, an officer of the Traffic, Order and Quick Response Police Team of Dong Da District Police) caused disorder at Tan Son Nhat airport.

Hien was later demoted two ranks to lieutenant. The defendant wrote his own application to leave the industry, so in November of the same year, the Hanoi Police Department issued a decision to discharge Hien from the army.

Regarding the disorderly incident at Tan Son Nhat airport, on August 11, Hien checked in for flight VN 248, from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. After sending 4 pieces of free baggage, Hien asked the airport staff to send 1 more suitcase and was refused, offering to carry on.

Not being able to meet the requirements, Hien loudly cursed, had rude words towards the aviation security staff.
