Information from Binh Duong Provincial Police this evening (March 22) said that the Criminal Police Department of Binh Duong Province Police in coordination with the Police of An Phu Ward (Thuan An City) had just detained and investigated three suspects. subject to the act of “consumption of property obtained by another person who commits a crime”.

The subjects included: Nguyen Ngoc Son (29 years old, from Binh Dinh), Nguyen Hai Phong (28 years old) and Duong Hoang Tuan (47 years old, from the same hometown of An Giang).

According to the police, around 10 a.m. on the same day, the An Phu ward police patrolled on D23 street (Viet Sing residential area, An Phu ward) and discovered a truck with license plates in An Giang province owned by Nguyen Hai Phong. The driver was loading and unloading goods and many motorbikes on the box with suspicious signs.

At the time of inspection, there were 5 motorbikes on the truck, but no vehicle registration certificate.

Working with the police, Nguyen Ngoc Son confessed to buying these motorbikes from thieves, then selling them to a person named Tam (whose identity is unknown) in An Giang province to make a profit.

On the morning of March 22, after collecting 5 cars, Son contacted Phong to transport them to An Giang for 400 thousand VND/car. Phong hired Tuan to help put it on a truck for delivery at the price of 500,000 VND/trip.

Through verification by the police, these motorbikes were stolen by people in the morning of the same day in Tan Uyen town (Binh Duong) and Binh Chanh district (HCMC).
