About the pre-qualification work

Candidates applying for admission to military colleges and universities must go through a pre-qualification and meet the criteria prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense (young adults outside the Army are pre-qualified at the Military Admissions Committee at district level, towns and cities directly under the province. Candidates are only allowed to register for one wish 1 (the highest aspiration) to a military school right from the time of making the application (if the school has many training majors, candidates can only apply for one major). ); the remaining aspirations candidates register to schools outside the Army, the registration shall comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (Education and Training).

About recruitment

Candidates register for admission and adjust their aspirations to apply for admission in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training in 2022.

For military schools, candidates who have submitted a pre-qualification application can adjust their aspirations to apply for admission by school groups as follows:

– Group 1: Includes academies: Logistics, Navy, Border Guard, Air Defense-Air Force (PK-KQ) (Command and Staff system) and officer schools: Army 1, Army 2, Politics Administration, Special Forces, Artillery, Tank and Armor, Chemical Defense, Information, Engineers.

– Group 2: Including academies: Military Engineering, Military Medicine, Military Science, PK-KQ (Aeronautical Engineering System).

The time and method for adjusting the application for admission will comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of National Defense promulgated in 2022.

Academies and schools in the Army only consider admission to military colleges and universities for candidates who:

– Having passed the pre-qualification, meeting the criteria prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense; attend the High School Graduation Exam in 2022 to get university and college admission results; exams and test subjects suitable for the combination of exam subjects for admission to military schools that candidates register.

– Apply for admission of the 1st (highest aspiration) to the school submitting the pre-qualification documents or the group of schools where the candidates can adjust their admission aspirations (option 1) according to the school’s selection combination.

Admission criteria

* General rules:

– Carry out a common benchmark with candidates who are soldiers and young people outside the Army; determine separate benchmarks for male – female subjects (if the school recruits female candidates); according to candidates with permanent residence in the Northern region (from Quang Binh onwards) and candidates with permanent residence in the Southern region (from Quang Tri onwards) or by each Military Zone; Candidates who are active-duty military personnel shall have their recruitment points determined according to their permanent residence.

– For academies and schools that concurrently consider the admissions combination: Math, Physics, Chemistry (A00 combination) and the admission combination: Math, Physics, English (A01 combination): Make one point. common standard for combination A00 and combination A01.

– Candidates to be counted according to the standard of permanent residence in the South must meet the following conditions:

+ Have a permanent residence from Quang Tri province onward.

+ The period of permanent residence from Quang Tri province or later (by September of the year of application) must be 3 years of continuous permanent residence or more.

+ Having at least year 12 studying and taking the high school graduation exam in the southern provinces.

* Some special rules:

– The Air Force Officer School implements a general admission criteria for the training of Military Pilots for candidates throughout the country.

– Military Medical Academy implements a common benchmark for both entrance examination combinations: Math, Physics, Chemistry (combination A00) and Math, Chemistry, Biology (combination B00).

– Military science Academy:

+ Implement a common benchmark for the same male or female candidates throughout the country applying for training in foreign languages ​​and international relations.

+ Implement a common benchmark among the selection groups: A00 and A01 groups for training in Technical Reconnaissance. The D01 and D02 complexes in the training of Russian language; Combination of D01 and D04 in training Chinese language.

Sub-criteria in admission

In case there are many candidates with the same score, the number of successful candidates exceeds the assigned quota, using the scores of the subjects in the selection combination as the secondary criteria for admission.

Candidates who do not pass the 1st desire (the highest desire) to academies and schools in the Army will be considered for the next aspiration to the schools outside the Army according to the order of priority of the candidate’s aspirations. register for admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
