Vietnam futsal team goes to Thailand for training

At the end of the training session at Thai Son Nam Gymnasium (Ho Chi Minh City), the Vietnamese futsal team had a friendly match with futsal club Sahako. This is also a meaningful match to review and evaluate the force before shortening the list to Thailand to train and attend the 2022 Southeast Asian futsal tournament, and also the 2022 Asian futsal qualifier.

In this match, with the ability to be more appreciated when owning the brightest stars of futsal in the country such as Minh Tri, Duc Hoa, Doan Phat, Van Vu… the Vietnamese futsal team did not meet many difficult to impose the game and win 2 – 1.

Van Hieu opened the scoring and Doan Phat authored the second goal for the Vietnamese futsal team.

Evaluating the past one month of focused practice, coach Pham Minh Giang said, basically, the team has completed the overall gameplay. In particular, the defense of the whole team has improved a lot. However, the finishing is still limited and needs to be continued to improve in the next 3 friendlies in Thailand.

During the training tour in Thailand, Mr. Pham Minh Giang’s teachers and students will compete in 3 friendly matches before entering the competition at the 2022 Southeast Asian futsal tournament, which will take place from April 2 to April 11 in Hanoi. Bangkok.

According to the draw results, the Vietnamese team is in Group B, meeting Myanmar (April 4), Timor Leste (April 5) and Australia (April 6). The top 3 in the regional playground will win tickets to the Asian final round in Kuwait in September.
