500 million VND for Hai Phong symbol logo
Hai Phong City People’s Committee opened the sixth creative contest, awarded the first prize of 500 million VND to search for the city logo, after 5 failed contests.
On the afternoon of March 23, at the Opera House, the Hai Phong City People’s Committee held a contest to create a city logo. The organizing committee does not limit or distinguish between domestic and foreign organizations and individuals, the number of works by each author and age. Children under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian.

The Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports, the permanent body of the contest’s organizing committee, will accept entries from March 23 to October 30. The winning work will be awarded 500 million VND with a certificate.
According to the rules, entries for the contest, especially the work of the winner, must have a high generality about the city, show art, be easy to understand, be recognizable, impress the public, be displayed on the website. A4 paper size is no more than 15x15cm.
Previously, the city held 5 contests, selected 5 works, but all of them were not accepted by the townspeople after being submitted for opinion. Vice President of Le Khac Nam City, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the competition, hopes that this contest will produce good works.

The 500 million dong bonus is not a big deal but an honor, accompanying the writer’s years with work chosen as a symbol for the land and people of Hai Phong.”, said Mr. Nam, committed to the Judging Board to work objectively to select beautiful works, without respecting or taking sides with the local community.
