6 months pregnant wife dies after 17-year-old husband’s gun shot

According to the leader of Tam Duong District People’s Committee, at noon on March 21, after eating at his own house, Cang and his wife, Lu Thi Vu (20 years old) quarreled. The wife took a homemade flintlock gun to scare her husband, but was snatched back by the stretcher and shot to death on the spot.
After committing the crime, Mang went to the police station to surrender.
The district leader said that on the day the incident happened, her husband went out, drank alcohol, and returned late.
The leader of Ban Bo Commune People’s Committee said that the victim was 6 months pregnant. “The two have not yet registered their marriage but according to the highland customs, their ethnic people get married early, wait until they are old enough to register,” the commune leader said.
