64-year-old motorcyclist begins to ‘travel’ across continents

Jaggi Vasudev, or Sadhguru, traveled 30,000 km from England to India in a BMW K1600 GT.

With many Indians as well as a large community of motorcycle enthusiasts in the world, Sadhguru is no stranger. A yoga teacher and book author, he is widely known by another nickname, Biker Baba. Sadhguru often rides a motorbike and his videos always attract the interest of many people. His social media accounts have millions of followers.

Currently, Sadhguru is on a 100-day trip from London, England to India in a campaign to help raise awareness about one of nature’s resources: save soil. The journey just started on March 21 and will pass through many countries and territories with a total length of 30,000 km.

Accompanying Sadhguru is a BMW K1600 GT – one of the largest displacement motorcycles he has ever used. This big road car uses a 1,649 cc, inline 6 cylinder engine, with a capacity of 160 hp and 175 Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with ABS anti-lock braking system, ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) electronic suspension adjustment system.
