Cambodian Prime Minister attends the inauguration of the arterial road connecting to Vietnam
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of National Highway 21, 63.6 km long connecting Ta Khmao city to Chrey Thom border gate area (Kandal province, Cambodia), today (March 23), Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said, National Highway 21 is the arterial traffic route between Cambodia and Vietnam.

When this road is completed, it will help people travel and transport goods easily, quickly and save time.
National Highway 21 is an important economic lifeline between Cambodia and Vietnam, especially in terms of freight transport and trade between the two countries.
Prime Minister Hun Sen also emphasized that National Road 21 is the shortest route connecting Cambodia with Vietnam. The people of the two countries easily exchange goods through the Chrey Thom international border gate (Kandal province, Cambodia) and Khanh Binh border gate (An Giang, Vietnam), especially Cambodia also imports electricity through this route.
