According to initial information, at about 2 a.m. on March 23, people informed the competent force about the accident that happened at the Bo Ban bridge area (Trieu Phuoc commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province).

Witnesses said a car crashed straight into the river. The Fire and Rescue Police force of Quang Tri Province Police immediately mobilized forces and specialized vehicles to the scene to organize the search.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Duong, Deputy Head of the Police Department of Fire Protection and Rescue, said that the incident happened at night, so the search faced many difficulties due to lack of light and cloudy river water. At 4:52 am on the same day, the forces found the victim NHBT (born in 1985) and the car that crashed.
Currently, the victim’s body and vehicle have been handed over to Trieu Phong District Police for further processing.
