Swathi and her husband.

The woman, named Swathi, 28, living in the Indian state of Telangana, is accused of plotting with her mistress Rajesh to kill her husband Sudhakar Reddy, 32. Swathi planned to have Rajesh get plastic surgery with the aim of continuing to live with her under Sudhakar’s identity.

Local police said the couple was inspired by the 2014 Indian film “Yevadu” (Who is he). In this movie, one of the characters has surgery to get the identity of another person.

A police spokesman told Gulf News that the husband found out adultery of his wife a few days ago and the wife became afraid. The mother-of-two then attacked her husband of seven years when he came home from work on November 26.

His lover Rajesh also went there and after Sudhakar died, the couple rolled Sudhakar into a rug and carried it up to the nearby forest and burned the body.

Two days later, Swathi damaged Rajesh’s face and body with acid with his consent. Later, Swathi told her husband’s parents that their son was attacked with acid by others and injured.

Sudhakar’s family took Rajesh to a hospital in Hyderabad and informed the police about the attack. But they quickly doubt the identity of the man they are caring for. Sudhakar’s family members brought lamb soup, one of Sudhakar’s favorite foods, to the hospital, but the fake man refused to eat it and said he was a vegetarian.

The police then redirected the investigation. They took Rajesh’s fingerprints, compared them with Sudhakar’s records and upon receiving the results, they immediately arrested Swathi.

Swathi admitted to killing her husband. Police found Sudhakar’s body. Rajesh was also arrested.

How is the psychology of women cheating?

“Society often assumes that men are cheaters, men are easy to deceive, but research data tells a different story,” said Alicia M. Walker, associate professor of sociology at Missouri State University, America, says and asserts that the cheating rate among women is equal to that of men.

This person said that it is not unusual for a wife to cheat on her husband. Depending on age group and behavior, sometimes women cheat more often than men.

Although marriage is mostly built by love, married life sometimes contains distances that cause the love of both to fade away.

If they don’t know how to keep the fire of love alive, the distance between husband and wife will widen, and they will be closer just for the sake of love. At that time, adultery was like a new solution to help women get out of the chaos of daily life. They feel happy and satisfied.

Women who cheat are happy because they enjoy many things that their current boring marriage cannot provide, others cheat for tempting reasons, and fear if they are found out, they will suffer the consequences. bad gossip from friends, colleagues, estranged children, family.

So, to prevent infidelity, communication is paramount. All relationships should begin with honest conversations about sex, preferably before marriage.

You have to be open to the things your partner cares about. Many of the women Walker interviewed spoke when they were comfortable talking about their fantasies or desires. Meanwhile, her husband showed disgust, making them feel ashamed. Infidelity offers a chance to be accepted.

In the end, the key to happiness is still caring. When you’re with your spouse, Walker says, it’s important to think about her needs and your own. If not, some people want to find another object that satisfies that need.
