Da Nang restarts many night economic activities

With a city developing tourism like Da Nang, night economy both make a difference and bring a significant source of income, from increasing the length of stay and spending of tourists when coming to this city.

“Da Nang at night” is a pilot program with a series of nightlife activities that Da Nang City is expected to restart at My An beach area in the next few months. This is one of the key activities of the project to develop the night economy in Da Nang city after a long period of silence due to the epidemic.

Up to now, the project of An Thuong tourist quarter has completed construction of 2 walking routes; Phase 2 of Bach Dang pedestrian street – Nguyen Van Troi bridge – Tran Hung Dao is also being deployed and forming a food experience area.

“Currently the city has developed a plan to develop the night economy, the tourism industry and a number of industries are consulting to develop a specific scenario program. I think this summer we will enjoy some activities in the night economy”, said Mr. Le Trung Chinh – Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee.

In the period of 2021 – 2025, Da Nang will develop a night economy with the brand “Da Nang Night” with services and colorful activities along the way. Han River.

With an incentive and investment mechanism for the night economy, Da Nang is starting to take steps to exploit this economic “gold mine”. This will be a lever not only to help the tourism industry recover soon, but also to promote the formation of a night-time economy that is currently left unattended in Da Nang.
