Going to the hotel to fight jealousy, being pushed away by the love enemy, the husband got angry and caused the crime

On March 23, the People’s Court of Ho Chi Minh City tried the first instance and sentenced defendant Nguyen Van Kiet (from Kien Giang province) to 7 years in prison for the crime of “Murder”.

According to the indictment, around June 2019, Kiet and his wife, a designer, went to Tan Tuc town (Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City) to rent a room. Both husband and wife work as housekeepers here.

In the process of going to work, Kiet discovered that Mr. Doan Van Duy Han Anh (working as a construction assistant with Kiet and his wife) had texted “back and forth” with Kiet’s wife.

Suspecting they had an illicit relationship, Kiet asked his wife to quit her job. The family moved to Binh Duong province to live.

In early September 2019, the youngest son Kiet was hospitalized for treatment at Thuan An City Hospital. Due to lack of money, Kiet went back to his hometown to sell rice and get utensils (with a hammer).

On September 8, 2019, the eldest son called Kiet that he did not see his mother and brother at the hospital, where he is currently unknown.

Two days later, Kiet heard from a friend that Ms. D and Mr. Han Anh were renting a hotel room. Immediately, Kiet ran straight to the hotel, rented a room and waited at the front desk.

When he saw the enemy come out, Kiet came to curse. Mr. Han Anh did not say anything but pushed Kiet away. Out of anger, Kiet went to his car to take a hammer from his hometown to attack the enemy.

Panicked, Mr. Han Anh ran away, Kiet continued to chase. It was only when the victim ran into a nearby house that Kiet stopped and fled. Until September 7, 2020, Kiet was arrested.

Mr. Han Anh was lucky to escape death but suffered injuries more than 72%.

After the incident, Ms. D. left unknown place.

In court, defendant Nguyen Van Kiet sincerely confessed his crime.

At the same time, the victim, Mr. Doan Van Duy Hanh Anh, admitted to an “out-of-the-box” relationship with Kiet’s wife, many times the two went to the hotel.
