Hai Phong City has just launched the City Icon Contest with the first prize worth 500 million VND.

On the afternoon of February 23, Hai Phong City People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch a contest to create city symbols.

Hai Phong city has passed 5 times to organize a contest to create city symbols but still has not achieved the desired results.

Entries must have a maximum of 3 colors (not including black and white) and must be displayed on A4 paper (29.7cm x 21cm), including a magnified icon sample placed in the center of A4 size paper. no more than 15cm x 15cm; two miniature icon templates (1 black and white and 1 color, no more than 3cm x 3cm) placed below the left and right sides of the enlarged icon template.

From now until the end of October 30, 2022, the Organizing Committee does not limit the entries to the contest and it is recommended to enclose a description of no more than 300 words on A4 paper (foreign language versions must be accompanied by a Vietnamese translation). ) transferred to the Standing Committee of the Competition Organizing Committee which is the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports at 18 Minh Khai, Minh Khai ward, Hong Bang district, Hai Phong city.

After two preliminary and final rounds, the first prize winner will receive a prize of VND 500 million and a certificate from the People’s Committee of Hai Phong city. This work will also be reported and submitted to the competent authorities for comments to choose as the symbol of Hai Phong.

In addition, 4 Consolation prizes will also receive a prize amount of VND 50 million and a Certificate of Hai Phong City People’s Committee. For the work selected as the symbol, the copyright indefinitely belongs to the People’s Committee of Hai Phong City.
